Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts' Snow Train to Vermont

On February 26, 2000 Doug Scott and I chased the Mass Bay RRE Snow Train to Vermont.  Our first stop was at South Station, to get a few shots before it departed.

Our next stop was at West Warren, MA, where we first caught a CSX Westbound autorack.

After a short wait, the Snow Train came through.

Next we headed for Northfield, MA, (just south of the VT border) where the NECR tracks cross the Connecticut River.

We then met up with the train at Brattleboro, VT.  After discharging passengers at Brattleboro, the Snow train made a reverse move, then pulled into the passing track, to clear the main for the southbound Vermonter.

The Snow train then continued on to Bellows Falls, VT (with a stop first at Putney, VT).
